I met oringal Freedom Riders & Ela Gandhi! Life is wild~~~
It’s been a hot minute Tumblr. I left NYC December 31st for some recovery time in Miami. Was there for three months and am now in the Gulf of Mexico with a Peace Organization helping victims of the BP Drilling Disaster. I wrote a play about activism, revolution and depression, focusing on the BP Drilling Disaster. I’ve been to six Occupations and in the ER two times. I’m still broke, still pale, but feeling better than ever :)
Yesterday I met with ORIGINAL FREEDOM RIDERS & ELA GANDHI (Gandhi’s Grand-daughter) at the SCLC headquarters yesterday!!!!!!! (Founded by Dr. Martin Luther King!!) They are forming a NEW Global Peace conference and I’m going to be helping organize!! Life is WILD! Feeling blessed!
